HIPAA Notice.

How Synchronize Health safeguards protected health information in its service operations. Last updated: July 2026.

Synchronize Health, LLC ("Synchronize Health") takes the protection of health information seriously. This notice describes how we approach HIPAA compliance in our service operations and clarifies the distinction between this website and the SYNC-PREVENT™ service.

This website does not collect PHI

This website (synchronize.health) is a business-to-business marketing site. The contact form collects business inquiries only — name, work email, organization, and a message. It does not collect, store, or transmit protected health information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA.

Our clinical operations are HIPAA-compliant

When Synchronize Health delivers SYNC-PREVENT™ services through a formal partnership with a healthcare provider, we operate as a Business Associate under HIPAA. This means:

Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) are executed with every covered entity partner before any PHI is accessed or processed.

Administrative, physical, and technical safeguards are in place to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of PHI in accordance with the HIPAA Security Rule.

Minimum necessary standard our team accesses only the PHI required to perform the specific clinical services outlined in each BAA.

Workforce training all team members who may access PHI receive HIPAA training and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

Breach notification

In the event of a breach of unsecured PHI, Synchronize Health will notify affected covered entity partners in accordance with the HIPAA Breach Notification Rule (45 CFR §§ 164.400–414) and cooperate fully in any required notification to individuals and the Department of Health and Human Services.

Scope and clinical authority

Synchronize Health, LLC operates clinical monitoring programs under the direction of ordering physicians. All clinical programs comply with applicable federal and state regulations, including HIPAA. Protected health information (PHI) is handled in accordance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules. Synchronize Health, LLC does not independently diagnose, treat, or prescribe. The ordering physician retains full clinical authority over all patient care decisions. SYNC-PREVENT™ is a trademark of Synchronize Health, LLC.
